Pangea Hostel is located in the intersection of two centric avenues, Entre Ríos and San Juan, which allows you to connect with the city main attractions: street
market in San Telmo, La Boca, La Recoleta, Microcentro, Palermo, etc.

Pangea is located in a commercial area, you’ll find banks with ATM, supermarkets, clothing shops, very good quality restaurants, and even a police station 100 metres from here. This area is also known for having Tango and milonga places, these are clubs where people go for dancing Tango.
From our place, we offer you the possibility to experiment the main attractions in the city, at your arrival we’ll give you a map with all the activities you can do in Buenos Aires, here we give you some of them, so you can begin to think which one you’ll like to do:

• Tickets for clubs and discos: Buenos Aires is known for its night life, the quantity and quality of bars, pubs, restaurants, clubs, and discos allows you to have more than one option for each day of the week. We offer you preferential tickets for the best discos in the city.

• Parachuting: Exploring the city from the sky is one of the most fun and amazing options you could experiment. You’ll jump from 3000 metres with an instructor who will escort you the entire jump and will film you, so later you’ll be able to relive that unique experience. You’ll be picked up in Pangea, and they’ll bring you back.

• Kayak: Tigre City, located at 30 km from Buenos Aires, it’s known for its rivers and islands. There you can practice kayak, row a boat, enjoy the sun, the nice fresh air and nature.

• City tour: If you want to know the city in detail in a day, we offer you the possibility to take the bus tour which has a double-decker style, so you can see the city from another point of view, two tour guides will show you the most important tourist points and their history in two hours and a half.

If you prefer to see the city by bicycle you can take the bike tour, which allows you to see the city closer. Buenos Aires is not very prepared for bikes, that’s why we recommend you to ride the circuit, because the traffic and daily rush make the big city of Buenos Aires a chaotic place for those people who want to enjoy it slowly.

• Tango: Buenos Aires is the capital of Tango, you can find a large number of milongas, tango clubs and theatricals shows. Traditionally we recommend the tourists to take a few tango lessons and then to go to a dinner show. There is variety of prices; usually they include a transfer from and to the hostel.
Milongas are often concurred by experienced people, who go to practice the dance they already know.

• Football: Although football isn’t an argentine invention, it could be said it is, by the way this sport is felt here. By having two world cups, one of the best football players in the world Diego Maradonna (current national football couch) and a very competitive national championship, make impossible not to go to see a River Plate or Boca Juniors football match, especially if Boca is playing in the mythic stadium “La Bombonera”. The people fanatism, plus the game and football players quality, guarantee a top level show and one of the best ways to get to know the Argentinean culture.

• Spanish Lessons: Like most Latin American countries, in Argentina the language spoken is Spanish. If you’re thinking to stay a few days or months at this part of the world, we recommend you to take some short lessons, so you can be able to develop the language in countries like Bolivia or Peru, where is hard to find bilingual people.

Pangea offers you the possibility to arrange interviews with Spanish schools, so you can choose between the possibilities and prices, or you can also take a grupal lesson in our hostel.

Beside the activities you can do in Buenos Aires, Pangea has a terrace with tables and a grill, for making a barbecue, and in the meanwhile you can drink a cold beer.
In the lobby you have a bar where you can have a drink while you’re playing pool.

For all this and more, Pangea waits you to enjoy the culture and accompany you in your stay in Buenos Aires.
